Lifespan Integration is a newer form of gentle body-based therapy which works to integrate neural networks and structures of the mind and body across time. These pathways are strengthened by repetitions of cues from an individual’s timeline that evokes visual and sensory experiences over their lifespan.
Lifespan Integration is versatile in that its implementation can be used to assist in clearing trauma (acute or complex), building a solid sense-of-self, or both. It is different from other forms of therapy in that the experience is predominantly somatic and imagery based. Various protocols may be used in unique ways tailored to the individual to address post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), childhood attachment wounds, emotion-regulation, relationship issues, and more.
After Lifespan Integration therapy, individuals find themselves experiencing spontaneous healing. Clients report fewer trauma-related symptoms, feeling better about life, more ease and enjoyment within interpersonal relationships, increased feelings of self-acceptance, and an increased tolerance for current life stressors.
